Dauren Abayev reported to the President on the ongoing work to improve the mechanisms of the state information policy, strengthening interaction with civil society, develop youth initiatives and projects, as well as on the planned measures in diaspora and religious policy.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev instructed to pay special attention to the effective conduct of the Volunteer’s Year, the creation of effective institutions for supporting volunteers.
The Head of State noted the great importance of involving civil society in the implementation of the “Listening-State" concept and the development of “Open Government” tools.
President Tokayev also set a task in the medium term to ensure the adoption of specific measures aimed at supporting the Kazakh mass media.
