President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev met with Mohamad Maliki bin Osman, Minister of the Office of the Prime Minister of Singapore.
The President noted that Singapore's participation in the Sixth Summit of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia (CICA) will make a significant contribution to the development of the CICA process. The Head of State said that he highly values the close cooperation with friendly Singapore, an important partner of Kazakhstan in ASEAN.
During the meeting, the interlocutors noted the expansion of bilateral trade, economic and investment relations.
In turn, Mohamad Maliki Bin Osman conveyed to Kassym-Jomart Tokayev best wishes from Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong. The head of Singapore’s delegation said his country intends to continue to strengthen cooperation with Kazakhstan.
At the end of the meeting, the Singaporean minister reiterated the invitation to the Head of Kazakhstan from President Halimah Yacob to pay a state visit to Singapore.
