Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has sent a telegram of condolences to Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni on the passing of former Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi. “Your country has lost a great statesman, an outstanding politician of a global scale, a charming and truly charismatic leader, who dedicated his entire life to serving the Italian nation. Mr. Berlusconi was known as a good friend of Kazakhstan, who made significant input to strengthening ever close Kazakh-Italian relations. His remarkable leadership and immense contributions to the development of Italy will always be remembered” the telegram says,” President Tokayev writes in his letter.
